| Bijars are known as the Iron rugs of Persia. They are heavy, dense and extremely durable. This is achieved by wet looming techniques that allow the weavers to pack the rugs very tightly. They will last like no other rugs and they're one of my favorite types of Persian rugs. You'll find Herati patterns repeated throughout. |
